Imaging in Psychotherapy and Depression Research (Dr. L. Wade-Bohleber)

The main research interest of our group is how psychotherapy affects the neural processes involved in aberrant emotion and memory processing in depressive disorders. We use different neuroimaging modalities, including both task-based and resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging as well as magnetic resonance spectroscopy, to identify neurofunctional and neurochemical alterations in depression, analyze treatment effects of psychotherapy and predict treatment response.
