Madeleine Kassar is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist. In 2015, she became the first female physician in Austria to complete a master's degree in applied ethics at the University of Graz. Shortly thereafter, she produced the radio program "Sigs Seelenkiste," which promoted more transparency in psychiatry and was broadcast throughout Austria. In 2015, she published a book on ethical studies of patient perceptions from a psychiatric perspective. She then completed a doctoral program in organizational ethics in Vienna and has since been pursuing a doctorate in philosophy at the University of Graz. She was able to demonstrate her forensic-psychiatric and ethical expertise in several criminal proceedings in Germany.
