Everardo Neumann Guerra studied medicine at the Autonomus University of San Luis Potosí (Mexico) before starting his residency in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Depratment of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy & Psychosomatics of the Christian Doppler University Hospital in Salzburg (AT) and afterwards continuing his residency in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University Hospital of Psychiatry Zürich. Currently he works at the high-security ward of the Inpatient Forensic Therapies of the University Hospital of Psychiatry Zürich. His research focus is on the biological underpinnings of violence and aggression in offender patients with schizophrenia spectrum disorder an its treatment options using novel biological methods such as rTMS, EKT, tDCS, etc.
