I am a specialist in psychiatry and a specialist in neurology. Since December 2022 I am the head physician of the Clinic for Depression and Anxiety at the Psychiatric Centre Münsingen (Canton Bern). I specialise in the sports psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment of elite athletes.

My main research interests are sport psychiatry as a medical and psychiatric field and mental health and disorders in elite sports.

As Editor-in-Chief Sports Psychiatry – Journal of Sports and Exercise Psychiatry, member of the ISSP Scientific Committee and board member of the Swiss Society for Sport Psychiatry, I actively contribute to the further development of the field internationally and nationally.
