Joëlle Dornbierer is a pharmaceutical scientist and clinical pharmacist (ETH Zürich). During the last 6 years she was working in clinical science in cancer research at the University Hospital of Zurich and built up a GMP compliant manufacturing site for clinical studies. Beside the scientific work she did pharmaceutical counseling and was working as a project manager for clinical trials.

For her PhD studies, she is investigating the effects of a synthetic Ayahuasca analogue on self-referential emotions in healthy volunteers, which are exposed to personal vulnerabilities.
