Jasmine Ho is a neuroscientist and psychologist investigating novel treatment approaches for chronic pain. Following her studies at the University of California, Los Angeles and at California State University, Los Angeles, she completed her PhD in neuroscience at the University of Zurich, where she assessed the (clinical) efficacy of virtual and augmented reality to alter pain and embodiment. In 2021, she received the UZH Entrepreneur Fellowship postdoc grant to further embodied virtual reality (VR) for chronic pain and is now expanding this line of research by exploring a novel VR-biotech combination approach under the Bridge Proof-of-Concept Fellowship
