Dila Suay completed her undergraduate degree at Sabanci University, Turkey in Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Bioengineering, and her master's degree at Maastricht University, Netherlands in Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience, focusing on in vivo electrophysiological research. Following that, she conducted her studies on the cognition and cooperative behaviour in wild animals in the Kalahari Desert, South Africa. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. studies at the IMT School for Advanced Studies, Italy, in collaboration with the University of Zurich, investigating the effects of pharmahuasca on face recognition and self-referential information processing using EEG, as well as investigating how serotonin modulation effects creative thinking and phenomenology of creativity.
