Can Tekin studied Psychology at the Sigmund Freud University in Vienna and is currently doing his master's degree at the University of Basel. For his bachelor thesis he did quantitative research on the interplay between psychedelic experiences and mindfulness-based traits. In the context of his master's thesis he is investigating the subject of personal vulnerability in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. For this he is engaged in a research project on ayahuasca compounds at the University Hospital of Psychiatry Zurich.
