Judith trained in medicine at the University of Rostock (Germany) earning her license as a physician and completing her medical doctorate electrophysiology. She specialized in psychiatry and psychotherapy through residencies at Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich and Balgrist University Hospital and further specialized in psychotraumatology at the University of Zurich. She gained research experience as a member of the research groups of Prof. Birgit Kleim and Prof. Sebastian Olbrich. She is currently working as consultant psychiatrist at the center for depression, anxiety disorders, and psychotherapy and as clinician scientist at the Psychiatric University Hospital and the University of Zurich. Committed to integrating clinical work with research, Judith believes that each domain enriches the other, with her research benefitting from clinical experiences and vice versa.
