Anna Landolt studies medicine at the University of Zurich. Through her work at the student organisation „Achtung Liebe“, dedicated to promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights through comprehensive sexuality education in schools, she started developing an interest in  the interaction of language and society. For her MMed thesis, Anna explores how the term ‚schizophrenia‘ is perceived by users, relatives and mental health professionals in Switzerland, if they favour a name change and if so, what alternative terms they suggest.
