Eleonora Fadel completed her master’s degree in psychology at the University of Zurich, following a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Paris-Lodron University Salzburg (Austria). She is currently a part-time doctoral candidate at the University of Zurich and the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich, where her research focuses on the neurofunctional correlates of early life adversity, particularly in depression, and on neuronal activity related to trust in posttraumatic stress disorder. In September 2025, she will additionally join the Zurich University of Applied Sciences as a research assistant, psychotherapist, and lecturer. She is a licensed psychotherapist and completed her psychotherapeutic training at the Klaus-Grawe-Institute Zurich with a focus on cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal therapy.
