Curriculum vitae

Vinzenz is a PhD student in Psychology at the University of Zurich, where he is deeply involved in groundbreaking research exploring the integration of social factors, stress responses, and opioid use. His academic journey began in the faculty of science at the same university, where he completed a master’s degree in Biomedicine. His thesis focused on brain activation during reading, examining its associations with behavioral reading tasks and the influence of real-time fMRI neurofeedback. Currently, his research intersects neuroscience, psychology, and pharmacology, with a particular emphasis on understanding how attachment styles influence the complex relationships between social environments, stress, and opioid use. His work is crucial in advancing our understanding of addiction and in the pursuit of identifying potential biomarkers for more effective psychological treatment strategies.
